On Saturday, September 28th, the Emmaus Ensemble will be performing in a concert with the Dubuque Chorale, Julien Chamber Choir, and choirs from Loras College, Clarke University, University of Dubuque, and University of Wisconsin-Platteville. This is a brand new event sponsored by the Chorale, and the college choirs are participating by invitation from the Chorale. The event (called SongFest) will be held at 7:30pm at Church of the Nativity in Dubuque (1225 Alta Vista Street). Each group will perform one or two pieces of their own, and then the concert will end with all groups performing Stephen Paulus’s Pilgrim’s Hymn. Admission is free.
